EBA CLEARING announced today the go-live of an OCT Inst Service, which was implemented in the pan-European RT1 System on 17 November 2024 at the request of its users. The new service allows payment service providers to leverage the pan-European instant payment system for cross-border payments that have one euro leg inside and one leg outside the Single Euro Payments Area (SEPA).
The new solution supports payment service providers (PSPs) in offering Verification of Payee services to their customers that fulfill the requirements of the Instant Payments Regulation (IPR) and of the VOP Scheme developed by the European Payments Council (EPC). With this delivery, EBA CLEARING provides the 5,000 PSPs that are connected to its RT1 and STEP2 Services with a comprehensive pan-European solution, which is designed to build SEPA-wide reach for Verification of Payee.
EBA CLEARING welcomes 50th active user of FPAD fraud-fighting functionality
EBA CLEARING announced today that its pan-European Fraud Pattern and Anomaly Detection (FPAD) functionality already counts 50 active users. FPAD has been available for RT1 and STEP2 users since March 2024, offering a wide range of real-time fraud-fighting tools based on fraud patterns and anomalies that can be identified at network level. The speedy uptake of the functionality demonstrates both the value provided by the functionality and how easily it can be integrated by users.
Quality survey 2023: very positive ratings throughout
Between 12 September and 15 October 2023, EBA CLEARING reached out to its users to solicit feedback on general satisfaction and on specific areas of interaction. Representatives of 118 financial institutions participated in the annual survey, which was conducted with the support of an independent survey provider.
