Interview with Niklas Lemberg From October 2025, the Instant Payments Regulation (IPR) will mandate all Eurozone PSPs to be capable of sending instant euro credit transfers. As this critical milestone approaches, PSPs are under pressure to ensure they can deliver fast, reliable processing and round-the-clock availability. Interview with Simone Löfgen From October 2025, payment service providers (PSPs) across the eurozone will be required to implement Verification of Payee (VoP) for all SEPA Credit Transfers and Instant Payments. While VoP can significantly strengthen the fight against authorised push payment fraud, it won’t address other fraud types the industry faces today.
